What are we looking for?

We are looking for a SENIOR IT SUPPORT in our office in Miami who will provide critical technical assistance and maintenance across various IT services and functions. The role involves user support, capacity monitoring, schematic maintenance, system control, supplier management, and knowledge administration. Responsible for delivering responsive, user-centric support while safeguarding data security and compliance.

What Challenges will you face?

User Support (level 1)
  • Provide first-level in-person technical support and assistance to end-users or clients via phone, email, or person.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, resolving them when possible.
  • Respond to and log user inquiries, incidents, and service requests promptly and efficiently. Offer step-by-step guidance and instructions to users for problem resolution.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals, including software and applications.
  • Assist with password resets and account management for various systems and applications.
  • Ensure proper functioning of office systems, HW (meeting rooms), and user equipment, and propose related improvements.
  • Escalate complex technical issues or unresolved problems to Level 2 or senior support staff as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to identify and report potential issues.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Offer excellent customer service, demonstrating patience and clear communication with end-users. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while providing IT support.
  • Ensure proper documentation of support interactions and resolutions for future reference. Collaborate with IT teams to improve knowledge-sharing and troubleshooting processes.

User account management
  • Execute user creations, modifications, and deletions for corporate IT applications.
  • Network architecture performance/security monitoring.
  • Monitor and manage updates of the IT communications infrastructure, ensuring information security policies in offices.

Control renewals, upgrades, and new solutions of the technological platform:
  • Manages application and system renewal deadlines, in addition to managing approved technology platform upgrades, and in those where the user is involved, they must ensure their execution. Technical coordination of projects for implementing new solutions/tools in Atlas.

Manage and administer suppliers, orders, invoices, and payments for IT services.
  • Search and selection of local partners, implementing SW and HW solutions as appropriate.
  • Manage defined services/SLA agreements, receipts, and accounting of invoices and payments within the IT area, whether referred to services, software, projects, or others.

Knowledge Administration
  • Provide basic training to end-users on IT-related topics and applications.
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Propose improvements in areas of responsibility.
  • Contribute to creating and improving IT support documentation and knowledge base.
  • Work on special IT projects and assignments as assigned by superiors.

What specific knowledge do you need?
  • IT Technical career of 2 years / IT Technician / Network Engineer
  • Help Desk / Networks and Communications / Business Applications
  • Office platform and office suite administrator.
  • Administration and Monitoring of ZOOM Platform and MS Teams.
  • Configuration and Administration of CISCO, HP, and Ubiquiti communications equipment.
  • Firewall Watchguard, Sonicwall.
  • Platform management (Knowledge in Power Automate, power apps, and Power BI)
  • Management and administration of the monitoring platform (Centreon, Nagios).
  • Tool management (advanced IP scanner/Microsoft Visio).
