The IT Technician is a critical member of the IT team at Group14's Production Manufacturing Facility in Moses Lake, WA. This role will provide hands-on technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, networks, and client endpoints within the manufacturing complex.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
-Technical Support:Provide first-line technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
-System Maintenance:Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of PLC's, HMI's, data collectors, databases, and other system endpoints.
-Security: Ensure security protocols are followed on all devices, assisting in the maintenance of security levels on system endpoints.
-Asset Management: Assist in IT asset management, including component inventory maintenance and documentation.
-Collaboration: Work closely with the IT Production (On-Site) Support Manager and Central IT to implement and maintain IT systems and solutions.
-Documentation:Document technical issues, solutions, and processes for future reference.
-Continuous Improvement:Assist in improving IT response times and system uptime by identifying opportunities to optimize process and workflow.
-Training: Provide basic IT training to end-users as needed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
-Associate degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
-2+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
-Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, OSX).
-Basic understanding of network architectures and cloud deployments.
-Experience with or knowledge of PLC Architectures, HMI, and SCADA systems is a plus.
-Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
OTHER QUALITIES WE'D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:
-Experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Familiarity with system management tools (e.g., Chef, Ansible).
-Familiarity with Service Desk ticketing systems (e.g., FreshService, ServiceNow).
-Knowledge of authentication toolsets such as Active Directory, LDAP, Okta.

The base hourly range for this position is $28/hr - $33/hr.
