The IT Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the organization's information technology infrastructure to ensure its optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role involves leading IT initiatives, implementing IT strategies, and supporting the technology needs of the organization.

Major Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

  • Managing IT Operations: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of an organization's IT department, ensuring smooth functioning of networks, systems, and infrastructure.
  • Team Leadership: Leading and supervising IT staff, including system administrators, network engineers, and support personnel.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing IT strategies that align with the organization's goals and budget constraints.
  • Technology Selection: Evaluating and selecting appropriate hardware, software, and technology solutions to meet the company's needs.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensuring the security of data and systems, implementing security protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Budget Management: Managing the IT budget, including cost control and resource allocation.
  • Project Management: Overseeing IT projects, from planning to execution, and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborating with technology vendors and negotiating contracts and
  • User Support: Providing support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Developing and maintaining plans for data backup, recovery, and continuity in case of IT system failures.
  • Training and Development: Identifying training needs for IT staff and implementing professional development programs.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Keeping records, generating reports, and communicating IT performance and status to upper management.


Ideal Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certification(s) in ITIL, CISSP and/or PMP is preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in IT management and leadership
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection principles.

Shift and Schedule:

This role is available Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. Must be flexible to work outside these hours, according to the needs of the business.
