We are looking for a Perception Architect to lead our team in developing and deploying cutting-edge perception solutions for our autonomous vehicles.
As Perception Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and testing perception algorithms
- Leading the perception team in developing and maintaining our perception stack
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure that our perception solutions are integrated with the rest of our autonomy platform
We are looking for someone with:
- A Master's or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience working in robotics with 5+ focused on perception
- Exceptional C++ programming skills and more than 5 years developing robotics software in a Linux environment
- FPGA
- Experience applying machine learning algorithms to perception problems and executing on a GPU or cloud platform
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in full software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Python
- Experience with Agile software development
- Strong mathematics skills
- Experience mentoring engineers
