We are looking for a Perception Architect to lead our team in developing and deploying cutting-edge perception solutions for our autonomous vehicles.

As Perception Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and testing perception algorithms
• Leading the perception team in developing and maintaining our perception stack
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure that our perception solutions are integrated with the rest of our autonomy platform

We are looking for someone with:

• A Master's or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience working in robotics with 5+ focused on perception
• Exceptional C++ programming skills and more than 5 years developing robotics software in a Linux environment
• FPGA
• Experience applying machine learning algorithms to perception problems and executing on a GPU or cloud platform

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in full software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with Python
• Experience with Agile software development
• Strong mathematics skills
• Experience mentoring engineers
