CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Assembly Technicians in the Salem, MA area!
These positions assist manufacturing to meet its continuous improvement goals such product cost reduction, improve overall product quality, reduced product cycle times and process validations. The individual in this position shall work with Manufacturing/Process engineers. Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts - Positions are detailed with experience and pay levels. Please apply if your background and experience is a match.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly Technician (TOW): assemble small parts/microscope, weld assemblies, J-Standard soldering preferred, working knowledge of SAP for inventory transactions, ability to lift up to 25lbs and be able to work in a controlled environments which includes wearing finger cots, gloves ESD smocks and safety glasses and has at least 2 years of experience with assembly and hand soldering. Salary: up to $22/hourly depending on experience.
- Process Technician (TOW): performs pressure testing, leak checking running exhaust pumps, gas backfilling, pinches off lamps using a hydraulic pinch-off tool, mounts lamps to manifolds, requires at least 3 years of process experience, basic computer skills, able to lift up to 25 lbs., sit for at least 6-8 hours a day, able to work in a controlled environments which includes wearing finger cots, gloves ESD smocks and safety glasses. Salary: up to $25/hourly depending on experience.

- High school diploma or GED required

- solder skills (J-STD Cert. preferred)
- able to read and understand procedures
