Insight Global is seeking a Senior Security Engineer support a large automotive manufacturing client at their newest EV battery plant that is in the process of being built. This person will be working closely with the and hands on to be supporting the networking environment and ensure smooth functioning for the organization's cybersecurity implementations. This engineer will be accountable to participate in all information systems including intrusion detection, incident response, vulnerability assessment, application security, and corporate information security policy compliance. Primary responsibility will be operation and improving security technologies including, DLP, Antivirus, IPS/IDS, End Point Protection, Database Activity Monitoring, and Web Application Firewall processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of minimum experience in medium to complex computing environments with advanced knowledge of security technologies and services
- Hands on experience in enterprise security technologies (Windows Server OS, Network Intrusion Prevention/Detection, Directory Services including LDAP, AD, and Secure Authentication Technologies
- High level understanding of server and network architecture (and their security dependencies)
- Endpoint Security, Endpoint detection, and network concepts (routing, switching, subnetting, DCHP, and DNS)
- Risk Management/Security Audit Assessment Support/Ad-hoc support
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Strong networking background/skills
- Security+ Certification
