Position: Software Support Engineer

Location: Casa Grande, AZ

Employment Type: Contract

Pay rate - $43/hr w2

The Software Support Engineer specializing in Telematics should possess a proficient understanding of Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth, and various networking communication protocols. The ideal candidate should be at ease in the Ubuntu/Linux environment, have familiarity with system-level commands, and demonstrate a passion for contributing to cutting-edge Electric Vehicle (EV) technology. This role is based on-site in Casa Grande, AZ.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Retrieve and diagnose logs
  • Troubleshoot system failures
  • Conduct root cause analysis


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science
  • 2 years of Ubuntu/Linux experience
  • 2 years of software development lifecycle experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in computer science
  • 2 years of experience in the automotive industry (UDS, DoIP, CAN, ECU)
  • 2 years of knowledge in Telematics Control Unit
  • 2 years of troubleshooting experience in the Ubuntu/Linux environment
  • 2 years of Jira experience


Additional Notes:
  • This position requires on-site presence in Casa Grande, AZ.
  • Remote work is not available; relocation to AZ is mandatory.
  • Availability to work 24/7 across all shifts is essential.


Pay for this position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered by our client.
