New Journey, a Genesis10 company is actively seeking a resource for a 3 month contract position with potential extension. This position will work 100% remotely.
Looking for a Support Engineer III that will be responsible for supporting our clients Robotic operations teams as customers. Day to day work in supporting these customers includes change management tasks and troubleshooting of our clients Robotic systems, robots and work-cells.
Responsibilities include the timely execution and approval of change management tasks, resolution of technical support tickets opened on a support portal as well as resolution of issues opened via a Chat channel.
The Robotics tech support team is the first line support for any issues fulfillment centers globally experience. Fulfillment centers will open tickets which are a rolling que of 5-7 tickets a week for the team. Fulfillment Centers will say something is wrong with the robotic equipment the team will then troubleshoot, look through graphs and dashboards to read metrics and understand trends to help resolve the issue.
This role is not an IT support group or application support. However, this role is more so on software for the robotic systems. Not necessarily on the connection issues but when there is an error the amazon robotics software is throwing. The contractors will need to know how to help or who to escalate the issue to.
Basic Requirements:
Compensation: $38.00 per hour

Basic Requirements:
- Application troubleshooting
- Familiar with Queries, know how to run a query for data pull (SQL)
- Remote software troubleshooting
- Strong passion for working with robotics/ or has worked with robotics
- Intermediate working knowledge of Linux/UNIX system at a user level
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services, networks and SQL/ relational databases
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- BS Degree in computer science or related STEM discipline is preferred
- Detail oriented with very strong oral and written communication
