Position Summary:

Position is responsible for order management for our retail and traditional customers and products shipped from the Lewisville Distribution facility.

Essential Functions:
  • Review open orders due on a daily basis to ensure we ship all products that are currently in the building by analyzing inventory and building various reports with priorities for warehouse management.
  • Review open orders due for shortages and work with purchasing and the manufacturing plants to expedite product where possible.
  • Communicate shortage information and whether to hold the order for improved fill rate to the appropriate warehouse team members.
  • Review inbound materials and communicate any prioritizations needed based on customer requirements.
  • Analyze all future work orders and current purchases to determine discrepancies and communicate these with the appropriate team members.
  • Work with Customer Collaboration group to provide responses to customer fill rate issues as requested.
  • Status order information as requested by the customer.
  • Follow-up with customers by communicating any significant fill issues.
  • Conduct Inventory analysis of both quantity on hand and incoming purchased or manufactured product to determine fill rates for customers.

Job Qualifications/Skills:
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with an AS400 operating system (i.e. JD Edwards) is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform basic calculations and apply basic algebraic concepts.
  • Follow instructions/directions with minor supervision and able a decision based on data
  • Self-motivated individual willing and able to take initiative as well as work in team environment
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Other physical demands: continuous sitting
