Key Responsibilities:
- Design marine powertrain systems and components using SolidWorks.
- Understand gasoline engine operations and design associated systems like exhaust, cooling, intake, and electrical controls.
- Knowledge of powertrain cooling systems, including pumps and heat exchangers.
- Emphasize design for manufacturability and assembly.
- Generate innovative concept designs.
- Take designs from concept to production.
- Perform predictive analysis using FEA & CFD.
- Collaborate with purchasing and manufacturing teams.
- Participate in DFMEA/DVP&R activities.
- Support product testing, validation, and production launch.
- Drive product validation through various testing methods.
- Continuously improve designs based on test data and warranty analysis.
- Resolve production and product-related issues.
- Lead communications with internal and external suppliers for issue resolution.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Naval Engineering.
- Strong mechanical design expertise.
