Recently, the Company broke ground on the construction of a new state-of-the-art thermal waste treatment facility located in the southwest region of Arkansas. Once completed, the facility will be the most advanced, environmentally efficient of its kind in the United States. It will feature the most advanced technology available on the market for capturing emissions and preserving air quality and natural resources in the community.

Who we are looking for / Requirements
Our client is seeking the services of a talented Process Engineer, encompassing the following:
  • 10 years of relevant work experience in an EPC environment for large capital projects such as Oil/Gas, Chemical or Hazardous Waste design and construction projects
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, civil engineering, or a related field
  • Process design and analysis skills of various major equipment and systems for large capital projects, broad knowledge of multiple processes and/or engineering disciplines
  • Previously performed as a lead Project/Process Engineer
  • Strong engineering background in Process, PandIDs and 3D modeling in an EPC contractor environment building large plants (Oil/Gas, Chemical, Hazardous Waste Plants etc.)
  • Demonstrated project engineering management skills (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing).
  • Ability to work effectively with various cross-functional teams
  • Process design experience of pump hydraulic and PSV calculations is highly relevant
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, computer and interpersonal skills.

What you will do / Responsibilities
  • In this highly visible role, you will be an integral member of the Company's (Owner's) Project Team, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager on this $350M modernization effort. It is expected you will be involved in the following:
  • Supporting and leading process engineering activities related to this project from the Owner's perspective.
  • Reporting onsite and interfacing daily with other members of the project team including the package engineers who will support on a consultant basis.
  • Engaging with the project team to address on-going design, engineering or process issues and to ensure successful completion and startup of the plant.
  • Overseeing and leading the Process Design validation effort
  • Assisting in the development of updated PFDs
  • Reviewing design basis of equipment packages to ensure that all equipment provided meets all Plant design requirements
  • Assisting the Commissioning Engineer in development Commissioning Procedures and execution of Commissioning Plan
  • Developing, refining equipment performance testing plans
  • Collaboratively and effectively lead efforts to resolve process design issues between Engineering-, Prime-, and Sub-contractors
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports to the Engineering Manager regarding the status of engineering issues affecting project cost, quality and schedule.
