Our client company is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to be responsible for compliance and permitting associated with waste, wastewater, and many aspects of air compliance and permitting.
You must be willing to:
Create recommendations/training materials/improvement plans to maintain a safe & compliant site
Responsible for permit compliance, permit modifications and renewal processes
Be responsible for tracking/reporting compliance for all regulatory requirements
Be responsible for reviewing MOCs/emissions events for environmental compliance or impacts
Conduct Environmental Hazard Analyses with Operations/Process Safety
Requirements (IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE, DONT APPLY)
BS degree in an Engineering or Science discipline
7+ years of experience with environmental compliance/permitting in chemical/petrochemical/pulp & paper/or refinery industries
Demonstrated competence of quantitative & analytical skills around air/waste/wastewater
Thorough knowledge of all Federal/State/Local regulations pertinent to environmental compliance.
Proficient in root cause analysis/lean problem-solving techniques
