JOB DESCRIPTION
With limited supervision, the Business Systems Analyst IV is responsible to serve as a liaison between Select Water business units and IT to assist in the definition, documentation, planning, execution, and testing of projects and releases. The Analyst will maintain and enhance existing business systems.

- Works with IT and business clients to define the scope and objectives for all assigned projects utilizing standardized documentation techniques.
- Works to understand business function needs and develop business acumen over time.
- Works with functional resources to develop and document formal business requirements.
- Leads problem solving sessions and facilitates root cause analysis.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Manages projects and ensures they are completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintains project status and reporting for project deliverables.
- Prepares, executes, and maintains test plans and test scripts.
- Utilizes requirements traceability matrix to demonstrate business requirements are delivered.
- Facilitates user acceptance testing.
- Demonstrates ability to understand and prioritize work tasks.
- Demonstrates ability to work a flexible schedule as required by business needs.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal supervision on directed projects and tasks.
- Demonstrates ability to learn quickly and adapt to dynamic user needs.
- Demonstrates ability to change priorities easily and remain flexible to the needs of the company.

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field required.
- 6-8 years of business analyst experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
- Master's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 6-8 years of working knowledge of PC/distributed applications including one or more of the following:
- D365
- SQL Server Reporting Services
- MS SQL Server
- E-Ticketing platforms
- Develop complex scripts with query languages such as SQL.
- Oversee and / or lead multiple project schedules.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, verbal and written communication, and telephone skills.
