Adecco is teaming up with a manufacturing company, and leader in their industry, to help them recruit and hire an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager for their Niles, MI facility.
This position requires a high degree of comfort engaging directly with individuals at all levels within the plant, development and improvement of the environmental management system to meet ISO14001 standards, and continued educational self-development through leadership, technical and Six Sigma training.

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year

This position requires a high degree of comfort engaging directly with individuals at all levels within the plant, development and improvement of the environmental management system to meet ISO14001 standards, and continued educational self-development through leadership, technical and Six Sigma training.
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for managing environmental demands with manufacturing demands (costs, productivity, environmental compliance, quality requirements; safety and sense of urgency)
- Responsible for conservation of resources and reuse/recycling of waste to control costs and minimizing and eliminating waste streams and emissions.
- Responsible for achieving goodwill with employees, community, and regulatory environmental groups.
- Assist Division EHS Director in establishing strategic safety and environmental direction; and crafting and implementing safety and environmental policies and procedures that support short- and long-term objectives.
- Develop/Communicate the environmental policies and procedures for the plant
- Ensure consistency in tone and focus in safety & environmental systems in alignment with other plants.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering or environmental/safety-related field.
- 3+ years in an environmental-related fields and Environmental regulatory experience
