Pueblo, Colorado
onsite plant with responsibility for satellite facilities in
Fort Collins, Colorado

Site Supervisors are responsible for all phases of operation of the Cryogenic Oxygen Generator servicing the Rocky Mountain Steel Mill Located in Pueblo Co. Additional responsibilities will be for all stages of operation of the two Cryogenic Nitrogen Generators servicing Broadcom semiconductor located in Fort Collins Colorado. Ideal candidates will be in the Pueblo and greater Pueblo area including Colorado Springs Colorado.

You will be required to understand all aspects of the sites responsibilities including safe execution of plant operation, plant maintenance, process and operational troubleshooting, customer interface and communications with a specific focus on leadership and operating skills for these facilities.

Training will be provided by seasoned Operations Technicians and Process Engineers. These plants will have remote access including remote troubleshooting, remote operations, and alarm management while not on site.

To be successful, you must be safety conscious, self-motivated, a good communicator and possess good organizational, operating, and mechanical proficiency, leaning toward instrumentation and electrical skills, coupled with wrenching-n-fitting abilities as needed.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

Commitment to safety including Basic Safety Performance (BSP) compliance and process safety management.
A strong commitment to Environmental awareness and management, including reporting and compliance to our customers and state regulation.
Promotion and support of customer relations through effective communications, collaborating with customers operations team and the Air Product support teams.
Completion of all administrative responsibilities for these sites.
Support all aspects of the day-to-day operation, including on-call responsibilities.
Safe execution of day-to-day operating and maintenance activities.
Troubleshooting plant process or mechanical problems, coordinating maintenance activities, leading plant efficiency and plant projects.
Preventative Maintenance and Critical System Checks with outside support scheduled as needed.
Identifying maintenance concerns, developing, and implementing corrective/preventive measures while working within planned maintenance budgets.
Working and communicating regularly and effectively with the North America Operating Service Center (OSC) located in Pasadena, Texas. Asset and Maintenance managers are located at the Western Region Office in Chandler, Arizona. Maintenance and process outages will be part of the onsite team responsibilities to coordinate and plan outages with the regional maintenance manager, tech support team, supply chain coordination for down time product needs and line manager for coordination of tasks, funding, and planning.

Candidates will be evaluated based on the following:

A proven track record of success in EH&S and Quality with examples of when and/or where these types of actions have been demonstrated.
A self-starter with validated leadership abilities.
Self-led and highly motivated to plan and ensure the completed execution of all tasks required by our safety, environmental, maintenance and engineering standards.
Experience with operations in the field of air separation, fractional distillation processes.
Strong communication and organizational skills are a plus to be successful in this position.
Ability to work well independently with equal ability to work very effectively as a team.
Demonstrated computer skills.

Qualifications:

Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
Relevant experience is a plus for this position however, not mandatory.

In Colorado, the expected pay range is $84,100 - $126,100 plus bonus. This is the pay range that we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
