The Quality Management Systems (QMS) Specialist is responsible for supporting the Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality (EHS&Q) department, reporting directly to the QMS Supervisor. This position will collaborate with the EHS&Q team, and cross-functionally with all business process and global function groups for Gardner, Rotoflow, and Gardner Rotoflow. Primary focus is to administer management of change (eMOC) and document control activities, including formatting of documents, as well as help support continuous improvement initiatives, closing audit findings/non-conformances, SharePoint administration, and to support and promote EHS&Q initiatives.

We are seeking a Quality Management Systems Specialist within our Quality team located at Houston, TX (or hybrid remote).

Required Skills / Abilities:

Facilitate, coordinate, and finalize Gardner and Rotoflow changes through eMOC. Support, optimize and continually improve all aspects of document control to serve the Gardner Rotoflow community.
Support in tracking and providing data for KPIs and documentation management (e.g., periodic review).
Support in the formatting of documents.
Be vigilant for improvement opportunities and report suggestions to management.
Collaborate with teams internally to the business to support identified continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., eMOC enhancements, software solutions, process mapping).
SharePoint administrator, including design, structuring, permissions management, and community support.
Act as the Records Retention Coordinator with Enterprise Records and Information Governance (ERIG) group.
Assist with training as it relates to the QMS initiatives.
Support Operations and EHS&Q improvement initiatives.
This position may require occasional travel (approximately 10%)

Education and Licensing Requirements:

Minimum 5 years Document Control/Quality Assurance experience. Air Products Internal Use Only
Bachelors degree in business, archives and records management, data management, or related field preferred.
Proficiency with EDMS, SharePoint, SAP, MS (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, OneDrive), Qlik Sense, and the ability to embrace and quickly learn new tools.
Understanding and development of workflows, including process mapping (Visio).
Working knowledge of ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 preferred.
Highly motivated, detail and results oriented with strong execution, organization, and administrative experience.
Ability to work across all levels of personnel on a global scale.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with international engineering company in petrochemical, chemical, or manufacturing preferred.
