We are seeking an F-35 Risk & Acquisition Analyst to support the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter Joint Program Office (JPO) located in Crystal City, VA. The JPO manages the development, test, production, fielding, and sustainment of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter for the USAF, USMC, USN, and International Partner and FMS customer nations. This position will provide support across the proposal and contract award lifecycle of multiple contract awards. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating various functions to develop integrated technical/project solutions to both tactical and strategic program risks and issues. We need someone who works well with a widely dispersed team and someone who can be assertive in capturing key inputs and data to incorporate into various products. What You Will Do Develop and monitor program plans including cost, schedule, and performance estimates, and ensure project outputs are delivered on schedule and within funding constraints.
Identify program challenges and recommend solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications and requirements
Review program deliverables before submittal to customer.
Support monthly Joint CPR Reviews of OEM cost and schedule data.
Assess risk management and acquisition of Tech Refresh 3 (TR-3) Integration across multiple IPTs.
Collaborate with various offices analyzing monthly obligations and expenditures including funding discrepancies across the Air Vehicle Portfolio.
Develop staffing plans and manage the utilization of resources to meet customer schedules and requirements.
Prepare and deliver briefings and point papers in support of the AV/MS office.
What You Need To Have Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Management, or in related field.
Eight (8) years of experience in risk management, technical or business analysis discipline.
Experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development.
Familiarity with DoD 5000.02 acquisition policies and procedures.
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects in developing, producing, and deploying subystems, and equipment.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Clearance: Must have an ACTIVE secret security clearance.
