Cryptologic Solutions Engineer

Key Role:

Develop and implement security solutions in alignment with cryptologic security requirements and strategy. Maintain an awareness of market and technology trends to bring best-of-breed solutions to the client. Apply specific functional knowledge of technologies RF communications equipment to provide solutions for meeting security requirements. Leverage deep industry knowledge to provide expert analysis and suggest modern solutions. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems in support of unmanned autonomous systems equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with implementing certified or approved cryptographic solutions or products for KG-250 and 250X, KG-255X, KG-175N TACLANE, or AIM I, II, and III equipment

Knowledge of protection profiles and product validation processes

Knowledge of FIPS 140-2 or FIPS 140-3

Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms

Knowledge of COMSEC product analysis and certification, Multi-Service SES collaboration and interoperability strategy, and Waveform software analysis

Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Security+ CE or IAT Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with taking a product through validation processes successfully

Experience with unmanned and autonomous systems

Experience with software development using Java, Python, C/C++, C#, Visual Basic, Go, or Rust

Knowledge of software development processes

Knowledge of quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms, including Crystals-Kyber, Crystals-Dilithium, Falcon, or Sphincs+

Knowledge of cryptographic key management best practices under NIST SP 800-57

Knowledge of reverse engineering best practices and processes

TS/SCI clearance

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
