We are currently partnered up with a privately held Medium Sized Manufacturing company in their search to add an EHS Manager to the team. This position will report into HR & the Plant Manager and will oversee a 100 employee plant. The EHS Manager - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:
  • Work closely with all departments within the organization to identify and mitigate potential risks to the health and safety of employees, visitors, and the environment.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety programs that ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential risks and hazards, and work with department managers to implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain all required environmental permits and reporting, including air and water quality monitoring and reporting.
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees on environmental, health, and safety topics, including emergency response procedures, hazardous materials handling, and accident prevention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new policies, procedures, and initiatives to improve environmental, health, and safety performance.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees in identifying and mitigating risks in their respective areas.
  • Ensure all incidents are investigated, documented, and reported in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with new environmental, health, and safety regulations and ensure the company remains in compliance with all applicable laws.
  • Develops sustainability strategies and initiatives to minimize the company's environmental impact and improve its social and economic performance.
  • Identifies opportunities to reduce the company's environmental impact, including waste reduction, energy efficiency and sustainable sourcing.
  • Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics.
  • Identify and implement sustainable business practices that improve the company's social and economic performance.


The ideal EHS Manager - Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience is preferred in a Manufacturing setting
  • Certified Safety Professional or Associate Safety Professional certification preferred
  • OSHA Certifications preferred
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001
  • EPA Regulatory Compliance experience

Job Offer

The EHS Manager - Manufacturing will be rewarded with the following:
  • Base Salary of $70,000-$100,000 depending on experience
