Responsibilities
Software Engineering Co-op Responsibilities:
- Motivated, self-directed, and the ability to make risk balanced decisions.
- Assists in the development of embedded software/firmware
- Assists in the modeling, testing and validation of software/firmware
- Provides technical expertise in support of improvements to existing product designs/architecture.
- Provides engineering support to the process of modification of existing products to meet customer requirements, while retaining product function and quality.

Qualifications
Software Engineering Co-op Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in Software, Computer or Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of school completed with strong academic performance (3.0 GPA or above)
- Junior, Senior and Master's status
- Experience in C, C++ programming languages
- Experience in model-based programming or MATLAB/Simulink
- Demonstrated leadership, strong initiative and decision-making skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across the organization
