Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer (Infra Group) will help develop, optimize, and maintain the EV battery production process as it pertains to the Infrastructure Group, by improving safety, quality, productivity, and sustainability. The role will develop, monitor, analyze, and implement new processes, procedures, and equipment as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize Infrastructure equipment as it relates to plant down time
• Enhance processes in Infrastructure systems, including implementing 5S, and Kaizen projects
• Lead Cross-functional Team (CFT) based activities with production, production maintenance and Infrastructure group to troubleshoot inefficiencies and optimize down time
• Analyze safety and quality issues to recommend corrective actions
• Prepare for and participate in daily/weekly/monthly meetings with other teams
• Organizing, controlling and supervising Infrastructure library, completing all tasks relative to the job, and ensuring that all drawings and as-built drawings are stored and accessible in a timely manner
• Driving and monitoring KPI to accomplish departmental goals
• Any other task what is given by the employee's superior and requires similar skills and competence

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or work experience equivalent
• 3+ years' experience in a highly automated production environment
• Experience with AutoCad
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Windows suite
• Experience in reading and understanding of blueprints and electrical schematics
• Skilled in handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven self-starter and motivator

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree
• Experience with PLC programing, (Allen-Bradley, Siemens and Mitsubishi)
