Wood Renewables is currently recruiting for a talented Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team of professionals within our Renewables Energy advisory services business. The role will be based in the United States (any city) with in-office or remote working models available.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary advisory due diligence projects including Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) transactions, Independent Engineer (IE) scopes for lenders, and Vendors due diligence assignments for renewable energy and grid integration projects in the Americas and globally. The team will be providing advisory, engineering, and technical solutions across solar, onshore and offshore wind power generation, energy storage and other technologies. The role will provide advisory services to our clients, supporting the delivery of a range of due diligence assignments and providing wider client advice across the project lifecycle.

  • Project manage and lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and other technical staff in the completion of renewable energy advisory due diligence projects
  • Assess renewable energy projects on behalf of lenders, investors and other project stakeholders.
  • Lead proposals to secure new work
  • Develop business relationships with clients and partnerships with in-house clients and other offices across the Americas
  • Manage key client relationships and accounts


  • University Degree in Engineering, Science, or Renewables-related discipline required
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in renewables, with a minimum of 10 years as a consultant
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the United States
  • Knowledge and experience in renewable energy, with direct experience in onshore wind, offshore wind or solar as desirable
  • Proven ability to lead business development, pursuits and project teams
  • Strong health, safety and environmental mindset
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Eligible to work in the other countries is an asset
  • Experience leading large multi-disciplinary renewable energy projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as presentation skills
  • Must be a US citizen or be authorized to work lawfully in the United States, without sponsorship from Wood
