Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Details
  • Manage technical department and streamline and modernize engineering processes.
  • Reduce lead times on costing, design submittals, compliance and specification reviews and fabrication drawing and BOM creations
  • Be a subject matter expert for design of power electronics within the company.
  • Extensive knowledge in Electrical Engineering Design, familiarity with motor generators and frequency converters.
  • Hands-on attitude, initiate design to cost activity, upgrade current design and technology levels.
  • Knowledge of PCBs, familiarity with PCB programming, and knowledge of creating electrical schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production of power equipment and other electrical circuitry on the manufacturing floor as needed
  • Ability to master testing, qualification and troubleshooting of power equipment, frequency converters and other electrical units
  • Manage local engineering staff

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering required - Master degree desired
  • Strong hands on experience in managing all aspects of Engineering
  • Strong hands on experience in managing all aspects of Operations in a low volume/high mix industrial equipment manufacturing environment
  • SolidWorks software knowledge required
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems, Lean Manufacturing and problem solving methods will be a must
  • Strong management and interpersonal skills
