We are a leading provider of energy efficiency solutions for both residential and commercial applications, looking to appoint a highly capable Senior Project Manager to our growing our Lighting& controls team.

The successful candidate will oversee every facet of lighting and controls projects, ensuring seamless execution within budget and time constraints. Additionally, they will manage a team of project managers and oversee critical financial aspects such as work in progress (WIP), profit and loss (P&L), and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute lighting and controls projects from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring that project objectives are met within specified timeframes, costs, and quality requirements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Oversee financial aspects such as WIP, P&L, and resource utilization, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to develop financial forecasts, track project costs, and optimize project profitability.
  • Provide strategic guidance and input on project selection, prioritization, and resource planning to align with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with customers, architects, contractors, and vendors to identify project requirements, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, architecture, or a related technical field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, specifically in lighting and controls systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of lighting technologies, controls systems, Local Law and industry best practices.
  • Proven track record in successfully managing complex lighting and controls projects, from conception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in financial management, including WIP, P&L, and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
