Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 per year

Job Details
  • Manage technical department and streamline and modernize engineering processes.
  • Reduce lead times on costing, design submittals, compliance and specification reviews and fabrication drawing and BOM creations
  • Provide technical support to some major customers in the definition of product requirements
  • Initiate and execute design to cost activities to meet costing targets
  • Utilize international low cost centres.
  • Improve manufacturing processes
  • Manage the profitability of t products, create build plans and support operations to meet revenue targets
  • Define and implement processes in order to develop strong inter functional synergies with the Engineering and the Supply Chain Departments
  • Participate in establishing local long-range plans, strategy and policies
  • Manage local engineering staff

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering required - Master degree desired
  • Strong hands on experience in managing all aspects of Engineering
  • Strong hands on experience in managing all aspects of Operations in a low volume/high

mix industrial equipment manufacturing environment
  • SolidWorks software knowledge required
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems, Lean Manufacturing and problem solving methods will be a must
  • Strong management and interpersonal skills
