We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Warren, MI to provide support to the Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) manned and unmanned ground vehicle programs.
Essential Job Functions:
Use Qt framework to develop Warfighter Machine Interface (WMI) software.
Support WMI integration with Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) Virtual Environment.
Support WMI integration onto tactical ground vehicles.
Support integration of externally developed software and hardware with WMI.
Work in a team environment with our Army customer, DCS Engineers, and other partners.
Position will require occasional travel to support test and integration events.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar required.
Experience with C++, Qt, and collaborative version control platforms (ex. GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket).
Experience with software development in Windows. Linux, and Android environments.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Agile software development.
Experience with network communication programming especially publish-subscribe messaging such as Data Distribution Service (DDS).
