Job Description:
As a Field Service Technician, you'll be an essential member of our customer support team, tasked with the installation, upkeep, and repair of our cutting-edge technology solutions at client locations. Your pivotal role revolves around swiftly and effectively addressing technical challenges, ensuring our customers' utmost satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute proficient tasks encompassing maintenance, repair, and comprehensive overhauls on a diverse range of diesel engines, generators, natural gas engines, and compressors.
Proficiently troubleshoot and diagnose compressor system issues at all levels, striving to enhance the performance of compression equipment.
Ensure strict adherence to all corporate and client policies and procedures.
Accurately complete assigned paperwork as per instructions and guidelines.
Continuously advance and refine skills to align with the latest technological advancements in the industry.
Exhibit adeptness at collaborating within a team environment, making valuable contributions, and also demonstrating the ability to work independently when circumstances dictate.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
Completion of a High School Diploma or attainment of a GED.
Formal vocational training is highly desirable.
Possess three to five years of hands-on experience in engine and compressor maintenance.
Proficiency in emissions controls, Control Panel operations, and instrumentation & electrical (I&E) systems.
Experience with Caterpillar and Waukesha engines.
Familiarity with Ariel, GE, and other gas compressor systems.
Required to hold and consistently maintain a valid driver's license while maintaining a satisfactory driving history.
Completion of CAT Training (a plus)
Physical Requirements:
Perform duties for extended durations in both hot and cold environments.
Frequently handle objects weighing up to 70 pounds, with occasional lifting and moving of items up to 100 pounds.
