Job Details
We are on the lookout for a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the renewable energy industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and management of our renewable energy projects, with a particular focus on PV Solar.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for our PV Solar projects, ensuring they are efficient, sustainable, and meet all project specifications and regulatory requirements.
2. Create and review PV layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring all designs are optimized for performance and reliability.
3. Work closely with the project team to develop and implement SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling our energy projects.
4. Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards and regulations.
5. Conduct detailed electrical system analyses, identifying any potential issues and recommending solutions to ensure the long-term success of our projects.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A master's degree would be highly advantageous.
2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the energy industry, with a strong focus on PV Solar.
3. Proven experience within utility-scale Solar
4. Expertise with AutoCAD
5. Experience with SCADA is highly preferred
6. Experience designing for low to high voltage products/systems
7. Design and model backplate (panel) layouts, wiring schematics, single line diagrams and electrical connections to meet functional, performance and safety specifications.
8. PE License will be a plus
9. Experience with meteorological measurement equipment (e.g., pyranometers, data loggers), and/or large-scale construction is a plus
