Summary HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support our DSCA (DoD) customer, based in Arlington, VA! This role will collect and analyze data across the customer's mission space to make informed decisions. Data will involve both structured and unstructured data, from information advantage activities in support of multi-domain operations. What you will do Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage
Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification
Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems
Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as liaison with business
Collaborate with data engineers and developers to ensure data quality and consistency
Continuously improve data analysis and reporting processes to drive efficiency and accuracy
Additional duties as assigned or required What we are looking for 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and presentation skills
Excellent work ethic and a high commitment to quality
Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks
Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical (easy to understand) terms
Proficiency in Excel
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance Bonus points for Knowledge of Advana and/or prior experience working within Advana highly desired Agile Experience
Advanced SQL Skills Ability to compile and analyze data definitions, usage, labeling standards
Experience with ETL process
Experience with any data visualization tools such as Tableau/Qlik
Understanding about databricks
