We are looking for Sustainability Analyst for our client in Santa Clara, CA Job Title: Sustainability Analyst Job Location: Santa Clara, CA Job Type: Contract Job Description: Pay Range $35hr - $40hr
  • Maintain large datasets using various data analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerBI) and support data management, analysis, visualization, and reporting.
  • Support Sustainability Report, third party questionnaires and Workiva implementation.
  • Support development of the company s responses to customer ESG surveys, in particular on climate change.
  • Support numerous workstreams around sustainability, including climate, water, circular economy, and others.
Skills:
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to present metrics, explain findings, and articulate issues and challenges together with proposed solutions.
  • Ability to set priorities while conducting analysis to quickly arrive at a conclusion.
  • Ability to identify emerging issues, analyze potential impacts and translate ideas and insights into viable recommendations for action.
  • Experience with corporate Scope 3 reporting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and data management tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerBI).
  • Ability to maintain and analyze large sets of environmental, social, and governance data for ESG reporting purposes.
  • Strong understanding of greenhouse gas emissions accounting and reporting standards (e.g., GHG Protocol).
  • Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas: electricity/power and renewable markets, operational water and waste management, circular economy, product sustainability.
  • Strong project management and time management skills to execute on multiple priorities in a fast-paced global setting.
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a matrixed environment.
Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Data Management/Data Science or related field.
  • Master s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Data Management/Data Science or related field.
Experience:
  • 2-3 year.
