Job Type Full-time Description What You'll Do: The Senior Flight Clearance Analyst will support NAVAIR's Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office (PMA-262) at NAS Pax River, MD. This program manages the development, production, fielding, and sustainment of the ACAT-1D Triton (MQ-4C) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS). This position will be on-site at NAS Patuxent River with limited opportunity for telework. In this role, you will perform the following duties: Generate, document, staff, and release USN Interim Flight Clearances and Flight Clearance Recommendations (FCR) for cooperative partners
Utilizing E-Power to generate airworthiness documentation
Develop chop sheets for flight clearance review and approval
Process NATOP/NATIP changes and support publication release cycles
Apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives
Analyze requirements, status, budget, and schedules
Perform management, technical, or business case analyses
Collect, complete, organize, and interpret data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs
Track program/project status and schedules
Apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management Requirements Who You Are: The Senior Flight Clearance Analyst will have the following education, skills, and experience: A bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of related experience, or an associate's degree and 14 years of related experience, required
Experience supporting a NAVAIR or DoD program is desired
Prior experience with UAS platforms is desiredThese characteristics also describe you: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
