The Electronic Systems Program Excellence (Px) team sets the standard for Project, Program, and Portfolio Management including the key elements of Program Planning at BAE Systems. Manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes a project or collection of projects. Ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company. Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security. This specific role requires application of specific PM work experiences to provide Program Assist to projects or programs across the ES Portfolio. The role may require performing analyses encompassing different areas such as Manufacturing, Quality, DTUPC and UPC as well as providing support on Phase Reviews as an assessor or as a Chairperson. Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status Required Education, Experience, & Skills Experience leading technical and program teams through all phases of the lifecycle with specific emphasis in transition to production and production
Solid understanding of EVMS, DTUPC and UPC
Provide proactive leadership to achieve customer commitments and growth expectations as well as efficient execution
Demonstrate visible leadership across the portfolio leading by example and driving program performance excellence
Time management and prioritization skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to senior leaders and customers
Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to achieve results through others
Business acumen mindset, awareness within and outside the business
Expertise in development of complex integrated master plans (IMPs) and integrated master schedules (IMS)
Experience in change management roles, especially involving cultural change
Experience supporting new business pursuits (captures/proposals)
Experience communicating and presenting business data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
Good understanding of BAE Systems' matrixed organization, Manufacturing Facilities and a well rounded understanding of a Product Lifecycle within the BAE Systems' environment. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Master's degree

Full-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
