Requisition Number: 17478 Required Travel: 0 - 10% Employment Type: Full Time/Salaried/Exempt Hours Per Week: 40.00 Security Clearance: TS/SCI Level of Experience: Mid Job Description HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an energetic and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to support the 367th Cyber Operations Squadron. The Systems Administrator provides computer systems maintenance and repair for the 367 COS supported weapon systems, conducts diagnosis, and resolves hardware, software, firmware and network problems. This position will configure, maintain and upgrade devices, network hardware and software equipment, and other associated automation equipment. Essential Job Responsibilities Maintain 367th COS mission systems and subsystems in accordance with (IAW) Air Force and Joint IT standards.
Ensure personnel have access to accounts and ensure information assurance training is completed as appropriate.
Manage stored material confidence and protection IAW Air Force and Joint standards to include back-ups, file plans, naming conventions, and storage.
Install, support and maintain server operating systems or other computer systems and the software applications pertinent to its operation, while also ensuring current defensive mechanisms are in place (IAVA Patches, etc.), and responding to service outages and interruptions to network operations.
Administer server-based networked systems, distributed applications, network storage, messaging, and application monitoring required to provision, sustain, operate, and integrate cyber networked systems and applications.
Provide networked application resources by designing, configuring, installing, and managing data services, operating systems, and server-based applications.
Standardize user privileges and system settings using automated deployment tools such as Group Policy Management Console (GMPC) and System Management Server.
Implement server and special mission system security fixes, operating system patches, and antivirus software.
Develop, test, and implement local restoral and contingency operations plans.
Perform proactive security functions to deter, detect, isolate, contain, and recover from information system and network security intrusions.
Conduct system sanitation resulting from classified message incidents (CMIs) and classified file incidents (CFIs).
Ensure contract personnel have sufficient training and experience to administer 91 COS mission systems.
Show sufficient technical knowledge to understand virtualizations concepts and must be familiar with the VMware products such as ESXi and vSphere.
Understand networking principles of routing, VPN, NAT, and traffic encapsulation.
Participate in Incident Response activities.
Minimum Qualifications 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
