Who We Are HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a full-time Project Manager / Site Lead for Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) effort under HII's Decisive Mission Actions and Technology Services (DMATS) task order. This individual will work full-time on-site in Mary Esther / Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and may travel up to 10%. This requirement supports development, integration, support, and sustainment for six AFSOC Technology Integration and Support Cooperatives (TISCs) including 1) Joint Education and Training System (JETS), 2) Joint Operational Support Cloud Environment (JOSCE), 3) Joint Personal Edge Compute Device (JPECD) systems, 4) Air Force Special Warfare, 5) Facilities Systems, and 6) Warfighter Worldwide Network (WWN). The Project Manager's responsibilities include coordinating and completing tasks on time, within budget, and scope. Oversees all aspects of onsite project personnel. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors, and summarizes progress of projects in compliance with all task order deliverables. Prepares reports for government customers and Program Managers regarding the project's status. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. Manage and oversee all activities and serve as the primary customer interface at the site. Responsible for managing and overseeing the activities of all HII and contractor personnel. Provide direction, administration, and lead execution of the overall effort.
Produce quality, on-time deliverables per the DMATS Task Order.
Review status of projects and budget; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Serve as the company's primary point of contact for project-related items and appropriately manage personnel, performance, scope, schedule, and budget matters for the company's contract support team.
Provide overall technical and financial management of tasks and milestones associated with contractual agreements.
Manage relationships and expectations with AFSOC, subcontractors, and our employees.
Evaluate the progression of project milestones and budget and modify work as applicable to ensure overall project quality, schedule, and budget are being attained.
Regularly engage with key government client stakeholders.
Develop monthly status reports and monthly performance reports detailing work performed, schedule of activities, issues/concerns, and benefits to the customer's mission.
Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
What We Are Looking For 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance.
Preferred: Bonus Points For Clearance: Possess and maintain an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III/Advanced Program Management certification.
CompTIA Network+ certification
CompTIA Security+ certification
ITILv3 or ITILv4 certification
10+ years of experience in managing Cost type contracts in support of the Department of Defense.
5+ years of experience in managing contracts awarded and administrated by GSA/FEDSIM.
3+ years of experience with using Office365 and Smartsheet in management of projects.
