Find the role that's right for you. Apply today. We look forward to meeting you. Job Description HII Mission Technologies is seeking an Engineer Technical Services3 to work on multiple DoD programs. The selected candidate will support the design, build, troubleshooting and maintenance of Apache Fire Control Radar Off Aircraft Test Set and Navy Part Task trainers. Essential Job Responsibilities Assist in the Identification and resolution of electronic system issues both on site and remotely.
Support the design, build, and maintenance of the hardware and operating systems on multiple programs.
Perform routine network maintenance, including basic troubleshooting and installation of upgrades.
Conduct sustainment activities at the Huntsville office as well as travel to customer sites, as required.
Explore ways to improve current designs and improve our customer support activities.
Minimum Qualifications Must have 9 years' experience with an associate degree in a technical or related field; High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant progressive experience.
Must have strong ability to read and interpret wiring schematics.
Must be proficient at troubleshooting, soldering and wire repairs as well as proficient with using a multimeter and Oscilloscope,
Must be proficient in creating reports and presentations with Microsoft Office 365 products. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical information to clients, stakeholders, and team members in a clear and concise manner. Must be a self-starter able to work independently or as part of a larger professional team.
Must have or have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be willing to travel occasionally.
Preferred Requirements Previous experience working with test procedures associated with Apache aircraft systems i.e Hellfire, JAGM, and Sensors.
Previous experience working with DoD programs.
Experience with calibration of equipment.
Proficiency using ECM and Maximo.
Good knowledge on computer/board operational characteristics.
Good knowledge on reading and interpreting wiring and design documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of Navy shipboard Alarms, Announcing and Radar systems and Apache Fire Control Radar not required, but a plus
