Riverside Overview Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. Position Overview Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Sr. Remote Sensing Engineer supporting technical GEOINT analysis for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) at Wright Patterson AFB. You will be working closely with a team of Riverside Research, government, military, and contractor personnel using GEOINT data sources for scientific and technical intelligence research in the advancement of the GEOINT mission. This work is in support of DoD and Intelligence Community program requirements. All positions with Riverside Research require U.S. citizenship. Responsibilities Job Responsibilities: Process and exploit GEOINT data from remote sensing data sources
Independent verification and validation of GEOINT algorithms and tools
Translate operational needs into technical requirements; prepare supporting documentation
Identify workflow processes that can be automated or improved; document and implement process improvements
Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI security clearance
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or comparable technical degree
10 years of experience working with overhead GEOINT imagery data
Experience with common remote sensing imagery data formats
Demonstrated proficiency processing and analyzing GEOINT data
Desired Qualifications: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or comparable technical degree
Language coding skills in Python, IDL, Matlab, or C++ Global Comp $123,644-$152,859 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
