We've got what you're looking for. Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Software Engineer to join our team! The Software Engineer will support product development and solutions across a variety of mission critical systems deployed around the world that address our customer's needs in the field of counter unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) detection and mitigation by applying your skill to research, develop, engineer, prototype, test and create new software, update existing software, and accomplish systems integration for TENCAP E3I projects. What You'll Be Doing: Work under the leadership of a Scrum Master using Agile Methodologies to create and update software systems that support both air gapped and cloud-based environments.
Collaborate with signals engineers, systems engineers, artificial intelligence engineers, machine learning engineers, and other team members in the planning, design, and development of software products.
Develops solutions designs based on analysis of requirements and new technology.
Provide technical support to the Maintenance and Reliability Engineer, Field Service Engineers, and training developers What Required Skills You'll Bring: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Familiarity and Experience with Web Development Technologies - Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, AWS
Familiarity and Experience with Backend Development Technologies - General knowledge of Java language
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment
Experience debugging performance, availability, stability, and efficiency of software systems
Experience validating and verifying application functionality against customer specified requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with technical team members, managers, and customers
Must have a Bachelor of Science in engineering, scientific, technical discipline, or comparable work experience What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience with C-UAS and/or Digital Signal Processing software and RF concepts
Experience with RF hardware and software systems
