UAV Swarm Development Intern - Summer 2024 Job Category: Intern/Co-op Time Type: Part time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Part-Time On-Call Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None What You'll Get to Do: CACI is seeking a UAV Swarm Intern with AI Expertise to explore the limitless possibilities of drone swarms and artificial intelligence to take part in our groundbreaking projects in autonomous drone technology. As an intern in this field, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying drone swarms that harness the power of AI to achieve unprecedented results. This position will be 100% onsite in our Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD location. More About the Role: Drone Swarm Design: Work with a small team to research the design and configuration of drone swarms for various applications.
AI Integration: Develop, implement, and fine-tune AI algorithms to enable autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, object recognition, and real-time decision-making for drone swarms.
Data Processing: Establish data pipelines for collecting and processing data generated by drone swarms, and work with AI models to extract actionable insights. You'll Bring These Qualifications: Completion of college coursework in a related discipline.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology. Strong programming skills (Python, C++, or similar). Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance.
Must currently be enrolled in full-time Associates or Undergraduate degree program. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: FAA Part 107 License
SolidWorks experience
