Summary HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Quality Analyst to support our DSCA (DoD) customer, based in Arlington, VA! This role will collect and analyze data across the customer's mission space to make informed decisions. Data will involve both structured and unstructured data, from information advantage activities in support of multi-domain operations. A successful candidate will be able review available tool(s) in Advana for monitoring data pipelines, develop a plan for profiling data and data cleansing, conduct tool analysis for data at rest, and develop an overall long term action plan/ approach. What you will do Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage
Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification
Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems
Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as liaison with business
Additional duties as assigned or required What we are looking for 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and presentation skills
Excellent work ethic and a high commitment to quality
Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks
Proficiency in Excel
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance Bonus points for Knowledge of Advana and/or prior experience working within Advana highly desired High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases
Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Experience in data mining and sentiment analysis of social media datasets
