Education & Experience Required:

- Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or related curriculum and 2-5 years of progressive work experience

Technical Skills (Required):

- Catalyst Experience

- Test Experience

- Matlab and/or Python analysis and modeling for engine and/or aftertreatment performance

Technical Skills (Desired):

- Proficiency in DatK and Canape

- Excellent analytical skills

- Experience with engine and/or aftertreatment performance data reduction and analysis

- Strong understanding of engine and aftertreatment systems

- Ability to draw conclusions from analysis and make decisions

Soft Skills (Required):

- Absolutely must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to adjust to multiple demands, changing priorities, multitask effectively

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Soft Skills (Desired):

- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

- Self-starter with strong technical leadership skills

- Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and others in work group, as well as employees in other units, customers, and suppliers

Position's Contributions to Work Group:

- Analysis of aftertreatment capability and sizing trade-offs

- Simulation of catalyst performance and understanding of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and engine system performance

- This individual will be a point of contact for aftertreatment test instruction, project plan status, results, and next steps
