We are the integral part of PS-EC Engineering Services focusing on innovative service solutions in the area of powertrain software and calibration. We develop customer specific solutions for helping our customers bring their products and services successfully to the Market. Our broad expertise regarding powertrain controls and our system and component know-how allow us to provide innovative, flexible and convincing solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Calibration of parameters with respect to the On-Board Diagnostic system to be capable of detecting malfunctions of the monitored system, primarily focusing on Diesel fuel system
  • Optimization according to engineering targets regarding monitoring strategies, performance/robustness of the diagnostic functions
  • Definition of engine and vehicle tests needed to reach customer performance and regulatory requirements
  • Evaluation and presentation of diagnostic related powertrain, engine, and vehicle test results
  • Support of customer and engineers from other departments in diagnostic related topics
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 12 weeks per year (domestic as well as international)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, control systems or computer engineering)
  • 4 or more years engine controls or OBD powertrain calibration experience (experience can include co-op, internship, professional experience, or experience with Formula SAE or other vehicles)
  • Experience with data acquisition and modelling tools such as MatLab/Simulink, ASCET, C++, ETAS tool suite
  • Good powertrain / diagnostic system knowledge (Diesel, Gasoline) in Hardware, Software or Calibration
  • Valid driver's license required
