Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer, Photogrammetry to join our team to support our government clients. The successful applicant will focus on the design and implementation of photogrammetry and 3D computer vision algorithms to support high-volume and high-throughput data applications, primarily with remote sensing sensors. The proposed development will include GPU-based solutions that can be applicable for several geospatially focused research and development projects in energy, transportation, national security, and other cross-disciplinary geospatial domains.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
  • Think innovatively about photogrammetric and 3D computer vision algorithms to support geospatial workflows in high-performance computing environments.
  • Implement and develop software to demonstrate feasibility of algorithms and then work with engineers to accelerate software in HPC environments.

Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Experience with geographical information systems (GIS).
  • Experience with stereo imagery, LIDAR, and other 3D sensing capabilities.
  • Familiarity with the basics of machine learning and high-performance computing (HPC).
  • Consistent track record of delivering products with Unity, C/C++, Python, R, C#, Java.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI techniques as they pertain to image recognition and data analysis.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience with software development tools (e.g., Git, JIRA).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to approach problems logically and systematically.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Highly motivated to learn new topics and skills and develop innovative product
