Our client is currently fielding applicants for an exciting opportunity as a Test Engineer. Seeking a Test Engineer with knowledge of aerospace industry test standards. This includes EMI testing such as radiated and conducted emissions and susceptibility, pin injection, electrical power quality and transients, as well as environmental tests such as temperature, shock and vibration.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Write detailed test plans and procedures per RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461
  • Define required support equipment necessary to conduct tests such as wiring harnesses, electrical interfaces, vibration fixtures, instrumentation, etc.
  • Plan and conduct tests as well as evaluate test results
  • Collect and analyze data in an organized manner that can be presented to customers and management
  • Communicate with Engineering Managers and Program Managers on testing status
  • Coordinate test witnessing and schedules with customers and test facilities.
  • Supervise outside laboratory tests.
  • Write test reports.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
  • Three years of related experience required.
