A leading Transportation company is looking to bring in Associate Engineers to support a major infrastructure transformation. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work receive certifications, gain high visibility, and work alongside Professional Engineers to review field inspections for varying structures (overpasses, bridges, electric vehicle support, etc.). This position will provide you upward mobility from EIT I- Transportation/Structural Engineering Specialist.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Review, analyze, and perform complex engineering work to develop practical skills within the specialized area of planning, design, structures, bridge maintenance, & asphalt foundations to ensure compliance within necessary guidelines.
Review requests, develop plans, & perform structural analysis and testing to safe load carrying capacity.
Oversee portions of specific engineering related functional areas to analyze data and ensure conformance to approved plans and engineering standards.
Coordinate and oversee contractors, consultants, and engineering work performed by technical & sub-professional personnel.
Learn under the direct supervision of a Licensed Professional Engineer (LPE) & gain additional certifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering practice field (Civil, Structural, Mechanical preferred).
Strong experience in CAD (MicroStation, Auto-CAD, Math-CAD).
MS Office experience
Ability to function effectively and proficiently in an environment of ongoing change.
Proactive self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure, prioritize and multitask.
Bonus Skills: MS in Structural Engineering, PE cert or EIT cert.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
