We've got what you're looking for. Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Data Scientist to join our team! The Data Scientist applies their skill to research, develop, engineer, prototype, test and accomplish systems integration for counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) in a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) environment supporting the TENCAP E3I mission. Their data analysis supports artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning to facilitate any potential future solutions for dynamic automated signal development processes, that include recognition and exploitation. What You'll Be Doing: Support the signal library for TENCAP projects and ensure the data accurately reflects the current operational environment
Develop adaptive data analytics through various methods including artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and large data cloud interface to infill and exfiltrate data according to data owner guidelines
Analyze unstructured and semi-structured data, including latent semantic indexing (LSI), entity identification and tagging, complex event processing (CEP), and the application of analysis algorithms on distributed, clustered, and cloud-based high-performance infrastructures
Exercise creativity in applying non-traditional approaches to large-scale analysis of unstructured data in support of high-value use cases visualized through multi-dimensional interfaces
Process and index requests against high-volume collections of data and high-velocity data streams
Develop tools to process and cleanse the data for analysis
Monitor data quality and maintain data governance over collected data
Develop advanced analysis and visualizations using appropriate software (e.g., Jupyter Notebook, ElasticSearch, R, Python, Kibana and others as technology evolves) What Required Skills You'll Bring: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in statistics, mathematics, computer science, software engineering or related technical or scientific field; or similar course of study (or substituted education and experience)
Advanced level proficiency with MS Office, data mining, ability to develop and manipulate, and maintain databases.
Demonstrated experience using tools to develop statistical analysis (R, Python, Jupyter Notebook, Arc GIS, MatLab etc.).
Required experience with software packages used for advanced statistical analysis of operational data and tools for data visualization.
