We've got what you're looking for. Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team! The Cybersecurity Engineer provides cybersecurity engineering and information assurance services to ensure networks are properly secured and support compliance and risk management. They work in close collaboration with the TENCAP E3I mission support staff performing all aspects of Cyber security work. They support the acquisition of hardware and software capabilities used to develop, engineer, prototype, test and accomplish systems integration for counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) supporting the TENCAP E3I mission. What You'll Be Doing: Designs, develops, and implements leading-edge analytical and technical methodologies, tools, and policies/standards to ensure a cyber-secure environment for customer organizations.
Such security measures include intrusion detection and prevention, software and system security protection through application of secure design protocols and reverse engineering, and data assurance.
Demonstrates advanced subject matter expertise
Contributes to and may lead the planning and implementation of large programs in the function, and regularly interfaces with senior management and executive leadership.
Plays a role in overall functional strategic planning. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
IAT Level III or IAM Level III certification
Five years within the past ten years' experience with IC, DOD, or Army assessment and authorization practices and processes under ICD 503 Risk Management Framework (RMF) and implementing NIST 800-53 security controls for U.S. Government networks and applications
Three years within the past five years of demonstrated experience conducting security evaluations for systems and applications; publishing RMF Body of Evidence(s) (BOE), supporting security control assessment validation activities, and successfully achieving ATO for referenced U.S. Government systems
One year within the past three years of experience creating and implementing a Continuous Monitoring plan IAW NIST 800-53
One year within the past three years of experience designing and implementing security solutions in a multi-tenant Windows and Linux environment on commercial cloud service providers (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure). What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Cybersecurity-relevant analysis experience (basic host and/or network analysis experience)
Cybersecurity certification (Sec+, CISSP, Net + etc)
Familiarity with Space or Weapons system development, sustainment, and security operations
Experience with Cybersecurity Assessment a plus.
Experience in computer network defense, software, and standards used across DoD would be beneficial
Experience in reducing risk to DoD systems, fixing systems of highest importance, hardening systems in development, and crypto resiliency.
