Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 10 - 12 years of experience or a Master's with 8 - 10 years of experience.
Performs analysis, design, and/or assembly related to product design, manufacturing, software, or engineering projects.
Translates manufacturing requirements into product design and ensures product is properly designed for manufacture and suppliers are properly selected and qualified.
Selects and works together with suppliers and designers to finalize product design, material selection and final process selection.
Defines, interprets, and develops quality standards for receiving, in-process, and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
Investigates and analyzes unique or highly technical manufacturing and customer issues providing technical assistance in establishing procedures and methods.
Reviews and evaluates complex in-process rejections and trends implementing corrective action as needed.
Interfaces with customers, vendors, and all company departments to resolve technical and quality problems.
Performs technical surveillance of a complex nature in the control of product, design concepts, software, and specification requirements.
Provides guidance in the areas of producibility, manufacturing processes, equipment and process improvement, quality engineering, software quality, software configuration management, and procurement quality engineering.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to serving as a Aviation Mission Planner / Navigator (MP/N) is a Subject Matter Expert working in a small, close-knit crew environment providing exciting, yet unconventional technical expertise in support of Air Force mission requirements. The MP/N leverages their background knowledge and specialized tools to develop complex flight plans based on the platform's capabilities and flight characteristics. Ability to multi-task, strong communication skills, and a firm grasp of Crew Resource Management skills are integral components of successful performance. The MP/N must possess an in depth understanding of the key factors in aircraft survivability and combat mission planning to ensure client objectives are met by finding both time-critical and long-term solutions to challenging and unconventional problems Qualifications Required: Must Possess and Maintain a TS/SCI with Poly Strong knowledge of PFPS/ Falconview , ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) operations, air navigation, fuel management, military aircraft combat mission planning, special use airspace use and management, and the key factors in aircraft survivability. Recent operational experience. Must be comfortable with managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and an ability to complete assignments with little or no supervision. BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7, or equivalent experience Desired: Experienced military aviators (pilot or flight officer) of manned and unmanned vehicles. RPA/UAV/UAS mission commanders / mission planners. Deployed/combat experience. A strong understanding of Red/Blue/Gray strategic and tactical defensive systems and their associated armaments.
