We've got what you're looking for. Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Database Engineer to join our team! The Database Engineer applies their skill to research, develop, engineer, prototype, test and accomplish systems integration for counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) in a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) environment supporting the TENCAP E3I mission. What You'll Be Doing: Engineer databases to support existing E3I C-UAS systems as well as support future technology systems
Collaborate with hardware and software designers to ensure that database solutions seamlessly integrate with existing and future technology solutions including software refreshes
Use integrated localized data stores, edge computing, and cloud-based database solutions that support artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning to facilitate potential solutions for dynamic automated signal development processes, that include recognition and exploitation
Designs, manages, and maintains the Logistics Management Information database to store logistics data, and produce LSA reports
Designs, manages, and maintains the cybersecurity engineering database that tracks and describes how vulnerabilities are resolved or mitigated
Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, and installs database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management What Required Skills You'll Bring: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in one of the Computer Sciences. Candidates with greater than 5 years' experience performing database engineering in support for TENCAP systems or other related Emerging Technologies will be considered in lieu of degree requirements
5+ years of experience as a DBA/DBE performing database administration, engineering, or design in support of system engineering, software development, or related activities
Experience with any of the following technologies and applications: • MS SQL Server • PostgreSQL • MySQL • Oracle DB • AWS Aurora, RDS • ArcGIS • RESTful web services What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience with any of the following a plus: • Java/Javascript • HTML/CSS • SharePoint • Powershell • Power BI • Tableau • Docker • Atlassian suite (Jira, etc.) • Cloud-based platforms
