GEOINT Sensors Instructor Location: Springfield, VA Required Clearance: Employment Type: Full-Time Regular Shift: Day Travel: No Relocation Assistance: Yes
Deliver in-resident and distance learning instructional programs in accordance with course requirements. Use instructional methods, including guided discussions, lectures, demonstrations, small group exercises, seminars, workshops, and laboratories. Employ instructional technology in instruction and training, including Blackboard. Leverage assessment strategies in accordance with the course design, including instructor observation, testing, grading, and providing formal and informal student feedback. Apply subject matter expertise in the curriculum creation process, including content review and feedback to development staff. Teach instructional courses and leverage expertise in developing and delivering technical training and educational courses in academic, commercial, government, or industrial organizations, Apply expertise in geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) remote sensors, technology, and data science. This position requires the ability to travel. Basic Qualifications: -Experience as a GEOINT Sensors instructor and trainer with Remote Sensing proficiency in one of the following phenomenology areas: LIDAR, OPIR, SAR, Thermal, Spectral -Documented experience with one or more of the following software packages: ENVI, Remote View and mensuration plug-ins, SAR Motion Simulator, AGITK Spiral 11, DIVA, DotMatrix and MOVINT Client -Experience in the government operating environment within the IC and DoD -Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam -Level 2 requires Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience. Level 3 requires a Doctorate Degree plus 5 years of experience or a Master's degree plus 15 years of relevant experience.
