e-Commerce Support Specialist I

  • Responsible for providing initial response and subsequent follow ups to customer's emails and phone calls.
  • Primary support for customers processing payment tasks, quoting, and placing orders through Wayne/FMS eCommerce platforms.
  • Create and manage branding requests, provide guidance on discounting, identify and create tasks for system configuration errors, and assist customers with troubleshooting.
  • General communication with Sales managers for outstanding items requiring their attention or assistance.
  • Support with UAT and NPD assignments as needed.
  • Cross collaborate with other departments as required.
  • Responsible for level 1 troubleshooting of eCommerce platforms.
  • Identifying and reporting issues found in eCommerce platforms to level 2 and 3 as appropriate. (Ticketing management)
  • Testing and documenting the results.
  • Responsible for facilitating training of at least one eCommerce platform to internal and external users.
  • SME of at least one Wayne/FMS eCommerce platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will have/possess:
  • Excellent Administrative, clerical and record keeping skills required.
  • Basic understanding of import/export compliance, ISO & EHS regulatory processes.
  • Experience in customer service, sales and/or program management experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated and with a strong aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately.
  • Effective interpersonal verbal and written communication skills; ability to relay information between accounts and sales management effectively and accurately.
  • Well organized and flexible with an ability to interact under pressure with professionalism and confidence.
  • Knowledge of Wayne/FMS order entry processes and procedures across product offerings.
  • Intermediate user of MS Office application, VOIP, ERP & CRM preferred.
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual space.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
